Yeah that picture sucked. Either Tapatalk or the forum compresses it. It's crystal clear (and big) on my computer. Either way, it just shows a bit of knock retard, with a slow decay rate.

I'm pretty certain that since my ZL1 is 100% bone stock, that this is "Fabricated" knock. Although I might try a bottle of Torco to see what happens. I'm really not too worried about it. I mostly am just having fun trying to understand what's going on.

I haven't even tried plugging KLF into Torque yet. Busy weekend. I'll try when I get home (this morning was a sloppy mess, so, I drove my truck! )

My car had a bunch of KR on the stock tune. I think it's pretty typical.

Okay, I gave it a shot today in the ZL1 using Torque. Here is what I did:

222160
Knock Learn Factor
KLF
Min: 0 Max: 1
Formula: A
Type: Float

Well, I OBVIOUSLY have the formula wrong. It does return "stuff". I can see the RAW hex value of the bytes and the "formula" returns 170.0. Always. So... that might be zero. The fact that it's a float, indicates to me that the formula must indicate that somehow. I looked at other PID formulas and might try one.

Anyhow, at least it's some progress.
