Hope you guys and gals are all having fun with yours...
If you find a dealer with allocation now maybe they can drop ship your car to a dealer near you when it is ready. You may want to check before you give up on it.

order stay or go

I ordered mine in March, and just got picked up and I am at 3000, but with saying that I have been writing GM and calling my dealer every week. It got to a point of telling my-self and them, I will not wait forever and if you are talking Winter or later then I will cancel and buy one off the lot. It's gets down to this, you have to make that decision, which can be hard. good luck on what ever you decide.

I got tired of waiting after a month, which was not very long at all, 3-4 months is fine for a wait. Anything longer is just plain unprofoessional IMO. The dealer wouldn't tell me anything. I went to autotrader on a daily basis and found one within a week. picking the car up next week and driving it back 500 miles

I would cancel, and try to find one you want on the lot! Or just order from somewhere else, atleast that wouldn't be as long at Febuary!

There are a bunch of cars being listed on eBay now at or extremely close to MSRP. Check it out every few days and see if you can find the car you are looking for. The nice thing with them is there is no wait and the cars are ready for delivery

Keep your eyes open! I canceled 2 orders and took a 3rd that was already at 3800 (MSPR too!) due to great people on this forum. It's a 460 mile drive home, but WHO CARES!! It's already on the rail and i've only been waiting a couple of months - that's with the 3 orders! Good luck! Don't give up yet!

I'm starting to feel as if I'm going to be in this boat, too. It's really quite disheartening to see people having 8 week turnaround on their orders and then there's a few of us who are still @ 1100.

At the time of order I was told that I can expect delivery late August or early September. Considering it's now August 23rd and I'm still @ 1100... I believe this to be impossible at this point. If I don't see movement on my order very soon (as in the next week... two at the most) - I'll most likely be finding another dealer >.<

PS - GM should just let you order from them directly and have them drop-shipped to a dealer of your choice. The whole allocation bit is just archaic and ridiculous.

I can help too AND, I HONOR ALL GM DISCOUNTS (MSRP alone just ain't right!) - and the camaro related gifts at delivery are pretty outstanding (so my customers say....)
