or just install a $15 skip shift eliminator and shift when you want.

Mine must have this, it shows to skip shift, but does not force me to do it, just thought it was a suggestion

I've got the Apex one in mine ( 1st mod I did when car was 3 days old). Now whenever I see the DIC display showing me to shift from 1st to 4th ...I tell it to go F**K yourself !

Now just have the engineers at GM to install an off switch for the HSA

Don't be fooled by the 5 minute install. It takes 5 minutes to install it after you spend 15 minutes dragging out floor jacks and jack stands and getting the car in the air, lol. Took it to a local repair joint. A mechanic threw it up on a lift and in 5 minutes my skip shift eliminator was installed. In return, I let him drive around the block. He loved it.
