My car is competely stock. I want to add CAI and likely the scoop/washer relocate kit, etc discussed in this thread. Can you PM me the info I need to order this in the near future? I wasn't really certain what parts I needed when looking at the site. Also planning a catch can order soon.
(2012 LS3/M6 if it matters) Thanks! |

I'm reluctant as well. I have a CAI but 150 for a plastic bottle and a custom bent piece of metal idk.

Until I read the last post, I wasn't sure what the "whoosh" that I heard when I shut off the car was coming from.
You just never know when you get pieces of information to questions you have in your mind.

Love the "Wooosh"! It's the only thing that keeps the grin on my face after the ride is over. CAI, Inc. intake w/ scoop and water kit is top notch and you can really feel the difference over stock.

It's probably been mentioned someone in one of these air scoop threads but . . .
How much does the scoop increase your chances of getting water into the intake during a heavy rain? I don't drive my Camaro in the rain, but wouldn't want to worry about hydro lock if I get caught in a surprise shower. |

No problem. Like I said, that is a pretty common question. That sort of thing is definitely a concern with intakes that actually locate the filter low and forward because it is very easy to get the filter wet or even submerged and then the intake can act like a straw. But the scoop you get the cool dense air you want it without having to put the filter in a vulnerable location.
