Given the competition it was up against, I'm not surprised the Camaro came in last. It's a great car, but most of the other cars were more serious performance cars.

I secretly love articles like these. The worse the Camaro reviews, the less people that are owning Camaro's making my car a little more rare. Doesn't bother me any, I love my car and anyone else who's been around it seems to love it as well.

According to their pie chart, a 370z is more fun to drive than a ZR1. Haha, come on now. It's like they're trying to drive a steak into GM with these lies.

First of all, you couldnt give me a Miata. Second, not all of us can rsh out and buy a porsche cayman. Third, why dont they get the porsche and run the same tests against a Ferrarri, Buggatti, and Lamborghini and see how it fares against them. Last of all , run all the tests you want, I love my Camaro, it has plenty of power and it handles great. All these tests do is placate those who cant afford a new Camaro and use these phony tests to justify why they wont or cant get one.All that matters is I have one and I love it .. Nuff said.

This is a handling contest complete w/ charts and graphs...whatever. How many have a back seat and is the least expensive...........oh, thats the Camaro!
It kills me w/ these guys that for years all they have written was how the domestic musle cars were so out dated w/ straight axles and lacked the advantages of the imports in ride and handling. Then suddenly there is a love fest w/ the Mustang's suspension as if it's something new. Who knew that tweaks to such an old platform could yeild so much. Maybe a sway bar and some springs to the Crown Victoria will produce something to compare to Porshe's new 4 door car? Motor Trend must just need reasons to drive some of these cars and just makes up this crap. Who knew so many people were torn between buying a $100K+ car and a Mazda Miata.
Maybe next month they will compare trucks.... Toyota Tacoma/ Ford Ranger, Dodge Ram/Chevy 1500 & F-Super Duty to see which truck drivers at Motor Trend prefer to drive? Thats about how dumb this article is.

I think you picked the wrong car if you are looking for something "rare". While it might seem that way right now given the past production contraints and the few cars on the roads to-date, I doubt the Gen5 Camaro will ever be rare.

Exactly. A few weeks ago my son and I were playing a little 'game' while driving. Wanted to see if we could make it two full minutes without seeing a Mustang. Don't think we ever made it. A couple years from now, that is likely to be the case with Camaro's as well...which is great for GM.
