Getting close to a deal on a 2013 black. Polished wheels and min condition trying to pick it up for 43 to 44k otd. And it is a certified vehicle. Seems like a good deal. It seems they have a hard time selling these around here in the winter so this may be a good time to buy.

I am looking at both. The ones that are certified used are both manuals. But I wouldn't mind an auto

If you like drag racing the auto would be a better choice. Either way a cool car.

Yes they crack. They don't like the cold. Guys that drive year round rave about Continental DWS's.

So are guys replacing those tires right away? I don't race but the car will be sitting most of winter?

Should be fine if it's garaged.

I have a deposit down on a 2013 manual black 2800 miles and it looks brand new not one flaw for 42.5k.

What does everyone think? Are they giving these big 20% incentives at year end on new zl1s ? Is this used deal a really good deal? Certified used from dealership.

That's a great deal. I have 6200 miles on my 13 ' and I wouldn't sell mine for that price. Actually I wouldn't even be close to that price. I would definitely jump on that, 42.5 is insane for a 13'..

I think $42k for a 13 with 2800 miles is a good deal. Since you have the deposit down, I am going to assume its a done deal and say congratulations.

I did see that they are doing 20% off all 5th GEN Camaro's. Should put you around $48 for a new ZL1

I'd say that's a very good deal on that '13. Wow, that's low miles and it goes right in line with what someone said a few posts ago. Most of these cars are bought for weekend cruising and they stay parked in garages under satin sheets the rest of the time.

I wouldn't sell mine for that price either. You won't regret buying this car at all. Post up some pics when you own it. Let the fun begin.

As was said, they do crack if you drive them when it's really cold, which is kind of silly anyway as they will grip like you're driving on teflon.

As was ALSO said, lots of guys like the Continental DWS for all-season (read that as winter) driving because they're a good deal and they come in good sizes. Continental just discontinued them, though, so if you find a set you'll want to jump on them quickly. Many here also drive the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and although they're summer tires, guys say they handle okay when it's cold (read that as NO SNOW).

Well, doing the math, it seems that 48k - 42.5k = $5,500 more for a car that, assuming 0 miles, has 2800 fewer miles. You're looking at roughly $2 a mile savings.

In all seriousness, though, get a CarFax and make sure you're covered on the one you've got a deposit on. Or an AutoCheck. Or both. Make sure it's clean. If it is, that's an excellent buy.

Make sure it is not a flood car. I hear a lot of flood cars are showing up on used car lots now. Check under the carpet and dash to make sure it was not in a flood.
