If you don't jump on that you would be crazy!
Don't forget whatever there giving you for your trade whether it be 16 or 17, you have to add in the taxes that you will not be paying on the new car for this amount cause of the trade . That 17 now becomes 18k. That's how it is in NY anyways.

One thing to keep in mind though, I know people are saying the 6 Gen is not going to be worth waiting for and whatever. In my opinion the 6 Gen may go in the wrong direction as far as looks (maybe ) but I can almost guarantee just the 6 Gen SS will be competing with the performance level of our current level ZL1's . Performance never goes backwards, it only gets better with these current muscle cars.

17k for your car is not bad. When i traded mine in for the ZL1, I got 19k...and its was an SS with 39,600 miles on it. I think I got ripped off but that was made up with this discount.

Man...go get it done. I'm telling you won't regret it.

I got it OTD for $31116!! I had the GM card figure off by $197 and wasn't going to worry about it. They basically gave me $17,105 for trade/discount combined (they called it just the trade value rather than anything off the vehicle, but all the same at the end of the day) on top of the 20% off. I didn't drive it home today, I am picking it up on Monday though.

I am very happy with the $17,105 for the trade in value. When I got my car I negotiated it to $500 under invoice $26,800 plus I had $3500 in GM Card credits, so I only paid $23,300 for it 42 months ago. The way I look at it, the MSRP of my car plus what I am paying for the ZL1 now is less than the MSRP of the ZL1 by about $4k! So I basically drove the 2LT for free for 42 months plus got $4k off a ZL1!

It's RRM with the black 10 spokes, CF insert, NAV, and 6-speed manual.

Is it a great deal...no

Is it a fair deal...yes

I'd buy the ZL1 and sell you car private party.

I think you'll find the resell on V6/V8 cars are soft right now. It's just the way it is. Lots of used Camaros are being dumped onto the market right now in anticipation of the 2016 refresh.

I wouldn't pass on a 20% off MSRP ZL1....

Just saying...

It was raining and 35 degrees so no real test drive, from everything I read I don't need to take a real test drive anyways as I won't be disappointed. I will be posting pictures on Monday.

Disagree!! He got Over 17k for trade in value. His car was an 11 V6 with no options and 25k miles, he wasn't doing better then that in a private party situation.

Great deal op , just the 20% alone makes it a 'great' deal!

Yes I am very happy with the deal, thanks for the support. I got back in trade in only $6200 less than what I paid for the car, and I owned it for 42 months, a cost of $147/month plus maintenance costs. Then on top of that I got a ZL1 at 20% off plus GM Card rebates.

For perspective on the 2LT, if the MSRP was still the same for a 2014 as it was in 2011 and I bought it with the 20% cash back deal now, it would have worked out to $21,125 on that car, and I got $17105 back for it...

Anyways enough about the numbers, now I am on to searching for winter wheels/tires. We get some snow but usually not a lot. Still I need something for cold weather as it does get below 40 degrees quite often. Anyone with ZL1 expertise on wheel/tire fitment, I could use some help in this thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...42#post8136042

Thanks!
