Didn't go today. Working with the dealer on a flatbed service for tomorrow. This is a really expensive car I will have for many years. I couple of hundred dollars more to get it home safe is well worth it.

I would be more nervous with them flat bedding the car, then driving in 27 degree weather (assuming the roads are clear).

The tristate and Delmarva areas just got an inch or two of snow (not much, I know), which was just enough to melt and turn into ice covered roads. A lot of areas I've seen are dumping tons of salt and sand all over. The roads might be a little better in a few days, but I'd definitely not want to drive a brand new ZL1 through that junk!

Flatbed did not work out. Guy was an idiot. I'm waiting until Friday so the salt and sand will be gone and taking her home. Possibly even Saturday.

The first 15 mins will be the worst part if left outside when you go pick it up, the rear will break lose on a modest 10 mph turn. I'd do like the other guy said and have them store it inside the night before and up to when you go to pick it up. That will be your safest bet.

Just make sure she is stored in the service bay over night before you bring it home.
Should have better weather Friday or Saturday.

Last year at this time I bought my ZL1 and there was no end in sight for the snow so, I bought some Continental DWS from Tire Rack and had my dealer put them on and drove it home.

I would still find a way to ship it.

Check this video out this is at 50 degrees outside.

Plus the underside of your car will be much cleaner

I purchased the car in, NJ in Dec. Got the car home and took those tires off the next day. Put on 4 all season tires and I drive it everyday like I stole it, with no problems.
