Thanks for bringing back a legend!

In 2002 I was still driving my 99 Firebird when I heard of the demise of the 4th Gens. I LOVED that car and fully intended to replace it with a newer model or a Trans Am in a year or two. As you can imagine, I was crushed by the news that the F-Body was dead. I also saw it as the writing on the wall for Pontiac even then - something must be seriously wrong with a company that would dump the 'Bird yet keep the Asstek.

I'm so happy that the Camaro is back... and incredible!

It's so true about the emotion and excitement for the new Camaro. There truly is nothing like it out there any more. I've never seen a brand new car garner more attention than the restored classics that we all love so much. I hope that with this "changed world" there is much, much more of the Camaro type cars to come from GM long into the future.

Thanks Fbod and the entire Camaro Team!

I think it was necessary for the Camaro to be reborn. It is so nice to see the car return to its roots and be a true muscle car. Although the last years of the 4th gen produced powerful cars - I think it was missing something. Whatever the car has lost over the years - it makes me just as excited to be able to get my hands on a 2010 as it does my 1969

I bitched and moaned while I waited for mine to be built, but I can say it was DEFINITELY worth the wait and this is one awesome car.

Thanks Scott.

Happy Birthday Rogue.

Scott, nicely written as usual. Having owned a '68 SS in the '70s and now having owned my 2010 2SS MT, I am still in awe at this car. The styling, the performance, the comfort, and it's an economical muscle car to boot, who would have thunk that a few years ago? I never get tired of saying, "nice job GM" (Chevrolet).

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was affected more than I thought I would be by the idea that no more Camaros were being born. I'm so thankful that they're back and I own one. Thanks, Scott, for keeping our hopes alive.

Great quality post... I've never been happier with a car purchase more than I have with my 2010 SS. I love it and each day I'm grateful and proud to be an owner of one!

Great Job by all concerned

I hope that all the users/readers of this forum understand that we have had unprecidented access to information about this car, its production, the status of your individual order, the shipping status and location like no other car in US production history. In short, a huge round of applause to FBodFather, Super60, The Mole, Hylton and everyone else that made this possible.

Here's a peek of my 2010 next to a 1967 at a show last night.

I'll be there on the 12th! Are you sure you don't want to lower the age to 18? I turn 18 that day.

See you there!

I find it kind of ironic that Papa John's gave out free pizza to F-Bod owners one day shy of this. They knew that all of us were drowning our sorrows in whatever it is we each drown our sorrows in seven years ago on that day.

In all seriousness though, it is kind of a neat coincidence, no?
