Let us determine, with your response to this retort, whether you are intelligent or simply ignorant and arrogant. Let's see whether you can learn and improve or simply "defend, justify, or deflect altogether", potentially, to your own amazement.

Logan1234, you're being a dick. Kinpin and others don't participate in these forums to take grammar lessons from other participants. The topic of this forum is Camaro and anything related to it. Grammar, spelling, diction and syntax are not topics that contribute to either, the success of individual participants, or the forum as a whole. If you want to give English lessons, perhaps you should volunteer to tutor at your local library.

In this case, your particular method of thinly veiled overcompensation for some other insecurity, is not lost on us simple folk, who just wanna brag about, learn and shoot the shit about our cars without arrogant elitest f**kwads trying to amaze us with their overvaluation of what is actually a rather common ability to navigate the complex phonetic ambiguities of the English language.

Its just the nature of the business; You win some and you lose some. I had a similar deal a few years ago with my truck, where Chevy and GM were practically giving them away just to clear their inventory. That was the sweetest deal I ever made on a new car (I'm still licking my lips).

My ZL I knew would be different because I wanted it a specific way and I wanted to order it, so going in I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. I got a great deal for it at the time after some competitive shopping, but the last Chevy discount event was phenomenal. Some people really got lucky in getting a terrific performer at a great price. As long as you get the car that you want, then everyone wins.

I make no apologies and stand by my comments.

My initial response was short, to the point, and intended to help. While this is a car forum it's obvious the OP lacked understanding of supply and demand, and proper word usage. Others addressed the "car" question so I offered assistance with the other area; believe it or not all criticism is negative... the pissing contest that ensued is another matter altogether. i.e. you insult me then it is game on biznitches.

While you all have championed kinpin and everyone goes home with a warm and fuzzy, my guess is that kinpin still took note of the mistakes and won't make them again; then again, most of you sent the message that mediocrity is acceptable. If kinpin walks away with a better understanding of the English language, is a greater success in life, and doesn't make other people cringe at reading what is he/she writes, than everybody (myself included) wins.

On a side note; you people up north are awfully sensitive.

I just started to look at the local inventory of ZL1's for sale. There aren't hardly any to be had in my locality. I know its winter here but spring is coming soon. Guess that 20% sale got rid of all the available inventory on the lots.

Logan1234,

I must agree with the general consensus that you should simply go away. And as for being an English scholar...

"If kinpin walks away with a better understanding of the English language, is a greater success in life, and doesn't make other people cringe at reading what is he/she writes, than everybody (myself included) wins."

Can you find your grammatical error, Logan1234?

When you want to describe the sequence of events, use then rather than than.

None of us are perfect. Your arrogance and condescension make me cringe, not your abysmal use of the word "than".

LOL nice catch! There were a lot of things incorrect with his post. He should just leave instead of coming off as an @ss. The guy calls out people up north and doesn't even disclose his location, other than USA.
