Good to hear man! I knew patience would pay off eventually.

I have the LS3 and therefore don't have the huge resonator the L99 has. I was planning on just doing the Solo axleback which is straight pipe with J-pipes for drone. Anybody care to comment on whether it would sound, same, different, worse, better than the NPP? I guess I don't see the point of putting on the NPP unless you want it quiet sometimes. I want to save the cash if the muff delete will do the same.

Thanks for all your input.

Well they do sound very similar, I will agree there. I think a big difference is how the muffler delete and NPP sound after mods have been added to the car. As you said, once modded it is very nice to have that dual mode function.

As for Solo, I have heard they sound great and know they are drone free. I have not heard one in person though, so I cant really comment.

I don't plan on headers or cam. So if the muff delete/solo will sound like an open mode npp thats cool. I didn't want it too loud. Just more aggressive and a touch more volume.

In that case both Solo and Muffler Delete will get you what you want, but the Solo setup will be a little more expensive.

Yea if you don't mind a little bit of drone then muffler delete sounds like it's right up your alley it's cheap to accomplish
