Excuse me for crashing in here. I'm actually designing a lotus 7 replica to use a Gen 5 diff. Before I face down the junkyard dog so I can measure one, does anyone have these dimensions.
ps.: I'm also testing drawing download capabilities of this site.

Second attempt to send drawing. This is what the rear end is going into.

Install went very easy with this driveline kit...I still can't get over the sheer size difference with the 9.9" rear that looks like it came out of a mack truck. The driveline is smooth as butter, and should be able to take the abuse

I just got my axles and driveshaft. Definitely top notch. Hopefully the rain holds out so I can get everything installed tomorrow!

Yes I do. Spent today getting bushings out, getting everything ready, I'm going to try to do the install outside if I can. Not enough room I'm a half full garage.

A new kit is around 4 grand. I bought a used diff for $1200 used axles for $425 a new driveshaft-$500 and the trans flange and random nuts and bolts were about $130. I work at a gm dealership so might of got the new stuff a little cheaper.

I finished up getting mine installed. Had an issue with the offset bushings, so I'll say a 2010 frame may have less clearance than later frames, and less offset was needed. They were very helpful, and got me set up with bushings that worked out. Im very happy with everything. Axles, driveshaft and bushings.

Here are pics of everything installed. With the bushings moving the rear up, my magnaflow exhaust clears the zl1 diff.
