Not slamming you, mostly because you are right. But, boxing originally started bare knuckle and now they use gloves. At some point, a thing needs to become legitimate.

Now for the but part.... Back in the day, I'm talking the 60's all the street racing on Woodward Ave and Gratiot is what gave all you guys the Hot Rods you have now. Like it or not all the high performance ( factory and after market) came from the street in some form or another. May it just be an idea or a cool name for something, that's where it all starts. I'm not condoning street racing, just being a realist on the history like it or not.

RIP to those killed in a senseless accident....

Ages in article...

Pretty foolish and immature statement to make. First of all, I'm not sure that texting causes more deaths than racing, but even if it did it would still not make street racing ok. What if more deaths were attributed to texting than drunk driving? Would that make drunk driving ok?

Sometimes I wonder just how respectful I need to remain to stay in the mods good graces. Camaro67, your post is ignorant. Hopefully your just trying to get a rise out of people. I don't care how much you pay for insurance, that's not a license to endanger others. I live in BFE and I can find sanctioned racing of 1 form or another every weekend from the middle of April through the middle of October.

Are you even old enough to drive? I'm honestly curious because you come off as a 12 year old who's only driving experience comes from playing racing games on his XBox.
