yeah i know it was random, but i got the idea from that one family guy episode where peter puts jet fuel in his truck and pretends to fly around in it. then it came to me.... what if you put rocket fuel lol.

Ohh hahaha i remember that, i wouldn't risk it, even though mustangs use it to try to compete with Camaro lol

You should be able to pick up a nice TPI swap for a good price. That would be great for you. GOBBS and GOBBS of Torque to get that thing moving, and they are super reliable for an everyday car. You hit the key in the morning and it fires right up and runs just right.
If you are not a total knucklehead a 350/305 TPI motor will get good MPG too. They can just chug along in OD and barely use any gas.
I used to drive an 87 Iroc-Z 50 miles ONE WAY to work every day for about a year. I always got in the high 20's and I had a few mods, intake, exhaust, headers, chipped. So the car moved really nice when I jumped on it.

just a suggestion. I am not trying to tell you what to do, its just that I have had 9 Camaros, and that is not including the 2010 2SS/RS I will be buying. SO I have had a few chances to mess with these cars, or I would not be putting my 2 cents in, haha.

I think Lingenfelter will be a good choice and the drop ship method works great. TAG's car looks to be an awesome set up as well. All these customized camaros!!

I'm also restoring a 1984 Camaro, i'm starting with the engine first. Which books are you using as a restore guide for the engine? any advice would be great, thanks!

Its been a while, i sold the car as restoring it would be out of reach for costs, i did end up using the money i sold it to, to buy a 1994 Z28. i sold the car to a friend that i know will and still is fixing it up to drive like new.
