I applaud the guys who have the discipline to resist.

I have a 1969 SS 396 L-78 Camaro that is 100% bone stock original w/ only 9500 original miles. From an investor standpoint, the fewer mods and the more original 1st gens are........ Mucho $$$$$$$.

So what really Sucks is it is hard for me to justify taking it out and having any fun.

So when my 2010 Camaro 2SS Shows up, I'm gonna Mod the Sh!t out of it.

I guess you could say I am making up for loss time with the 1969 SS.

The only things I have done to mine is add a SS windshield emblem, embroidery floormats, and polished sill plates. I will put a GM performance exhaust on it since it was not available when I placed the order and was on constraint.

When I get mine it will not be left bone stock. First will be the K&N, then the Exhaust, and then maybe headers & some appearence stuff to set it apart from the rest. Not because the car isn't great in stock form, but after driving my Firebird bone stock for a long time & seeing all of the amazing modded Trans Am WS6's made me want to take mine car to a new level. These cars have too much potential to be left bone stock.

Keeping Camaros Stock

I am going to keep my 2010 2SS stock just like I did for my 1967 RS that I first purchased back in August of 1967. You can tell by the photos that I have and will keep my two Camaros Stock.

My 69 is the same way only difference is mine is a 350hp car not the 375hp car. And I took the 5 star "SS" off and have them in my garage and installed a set of 17inch in TT'2 besides that she is bone stock.
I figured if she lived this long in her birthday cloths why not let her stay that way.

As for my 5thgen

ARH longtubes , Borla and Cai and etc

I had such a hard time with the stock or mod decision I am going to buy 2...... Keep one stock as a everyday cruiser and turn the other into a track car.

Pretty much keeping mine stock. Did the modding thing with my Mopars.
I'll add stuff like mud flaps, sill plates, etc. But the drivetrain is staying factory.
Why do anything?, everytime I go out in it I feel like a Rock Star!

I love her the way she is.

But, I did change the gold bowtie. I just could
not stand it against the silver.
I tinted the windows, but just to keep the leather
seats in good condition.
