You pull the #5, and #20 fuse out of the fuse box. These fuses power the ecm. By disconnecting the ecm (your cars computer) you delete the previous run files with which your car was running on. It will go back to default which is the better tune/ready for 93 octane gas.

Some guys had the misfortune of having their dealers fill the car with 87 octane. When running the car, it would hear "knock" from pre-ignition and the ecm would pull timing (lose power). Even after filling up with 93, the cars seemed to stay on the "87 tune". Pulling the fuses ensures that the car is on the full-power 93 tune.

Was at the dealer yesterday for check engine lite(L99). They said the LMR cai was producing more air than the engine was programmed for, thus the lite, bull. Anyway, checks were run for updates and the fuei management system was reset. I was told there were no updates. But, the car runs stronger than ever before.

and also to clear things up a little more not really a mod, just like he said you pull the fuses let it sit for a few hours or overnight then plug them back in and your good to go

no you got the light because of the placement of the MAF sensor
