After taking my vehicle to the dealership they found the the problem due to a faulty ECM module. They replaced and reprogrammed and so far the problem has not returned.
They also informed me that the root cause may have been due to my radar detector interfering with the ECM. I'm not certain I believe this. |

I doubt it was the radar detector.
I am thinking there was a small batch of defective ECU's.
