That's the risk with buying such a wonderful car as the Camaro. It is so reasonably priced that many people wanting an expressively styled car with great performance will buy it.

If you want exclusivity, you need to step up and buy a Corvette. But even they aren't rare.

The only exclusive cars that are also reasonably priced look more like the Aztek than a Camaro.

Worry not, enjoy the car.

Do you think Chevy will overproduce these cars to the point that they are no longer special?
Who cares? I'll still have a new car with 426hp that I bought for ~$31k.

There are more than that in Enid alone! In fact the local dealer has been sitting on a black 2ss/rs with the 21" wheels for a couple of weeks!

I understand your concern, but the beauty of the Camaro is its potential for customization. I see so many mustangs that I practically tune them out, but every once in awhile I see one that grabs my attention and won't let go (e.g. Super Snake, tricked out GT500, Elenor kit). Make it your own, that's half the fun of this vehicle!

You know, it is always an excitment to get a new car, especially such a nice one like the Camaro. You must however accept that the car is not an object of art hanging on a wall in a prestige museum and that eventually there will be has many has the Stang on the road. At the end of the day, we are in my opinion getting the car for the pleasure of driving it and enjoying the excellent product GM is putting on the road. Please do not get me wrong, of course it would be awesome to be the only one in the neighborhood to have a 2010 Camaro but, it is after all a production car and the more they sell the more it should become afordable to get. i. e. those foolish mark up by some money hungry dealers that asks anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 over MSRP is simply taking advantage of the rarety of the vehicle.

Small Town here too...and they are everywhere! AND of course nearly all IOM LOL In a 15 mile radius I know of 3 IOM, 1 Summit, 1 SIM and my dealer has 2 on lot. Black SS Sold and Victory Red SS Unsold.

I am so glad to see them!

Our Ford dealership just closed, Dodge dealership looks empty...It's sad.

Yay Chevy!

I guess I should clarify.

I love the 2010 Camaro. I love Chevy products and this particular car is my dream car. (Do you think I overpaid for a 2LT with the RS package and Rally Stripes...paid $30,500)

Anyway, the uniqueness of the car making it a head turner was an added bonus to me.

I would have bought the car if there were just as many as the mustangs. I just hope I get to drive it a little while it's still a rare head turner in my area.

BTW, on Long Island, since the car became avaiable, I've seen 4 Camaros. (And none of them as cool looking as mine will be!)

Easy fix. If you're worried about it being too common. Just buy a Tom Berger or other speciality model.

No, not if that's what you wanted. It's hard to find cars with all the bells and whistles for less than $30k these days, much less one with 300hp.

Well said... I am 51 and close to being a grandpa...owned a 69, Z28 and vowed some day would own another. 5th gen was the one that tipped the scale...style and the muscle. This near grandpa grew up in the muscle car era and still appreciate muscle cars and will continue to do so until I die. Cut us mature camaro owners a little slack.
