pop the hood and look for a white steering shaft, people probably arent going to fake that.

The 1LE also comes with a oil catch can. Make sure they give that to you also.

What about the competitive mode option does that come on normal ss also? I think that would be a 1le thing.

Yes to Competitive Mode on SS....Standard on SS.

And, Launch Control standard on any manual transmission SS (including 1LE).

BY DRIVING ONE! HADLES WAY BETTER! I had a 2010 2SSRS AGM IO interior. This was a fast and agile car, stock. I test drove a 1LE before I bought mine. When I hit the freeway, the difference is instant. Even on the street!

Kaboom I have parted 2 of them WITHOUT the white shaft....I would not use that as a definitive. I have also seen zl1's without it as well.....

My 1LE has the white steering shaft. I have not seen this on regular SS cars.

another difference is the struts.
The painted calipers
Suede steering wheel and suede shift knob and boot
and a Clean Oil Seperator

VTSummit got the info on the car for me. It's real.

I pulled the trigger last Monday and have since put a hundred miles and 2 tanks of gas on it!

It's a 2013 with 3,000 miles. Sorry for the crummy pics - haven't had time to get any nice ones:
