I don't always drink beer, but when I do it's Canadian... well, when German and British isn't available.

My 2015 LFX V6 manual tranny Camaro gets 23-24 MPG city and 29-30 high way. I am happy with those numbers. I have put premium 93 100% gasoline in it since day 1. It's just a v6 so I really don't drive it that hard. Mostly because it doesn't have a whole lot to offer. Haha.

My 2012 1LT V6 LFX has not seen anything beyond 16.9 mpg. Originally only put 87 in it. Now i put 93 in for NOS. Still stuck at 16.9 but i'm not complaining because if i wanted fuel economy I would have bought a Toyota Prius - LOL

Maybe the LTT is just a V6, but the LGX and LFX are premium engines.

I think with a good CAI, TB, & Tune we'll be up there with the LGX

Sanjay, looking at getting the catless downpipes...what are your thoughts? Make a difference?

That being said, still figured i would have got better mileage. Then again, i only have 3700 mile on hte car. The CAI Intake, ported TB (done today) and removed stock mufflers are the only things I have done performance wise. Dont think any of those would cause issues....

I have the 2ls automatic and get 28mpg with the 20 inch R/S rims but was getting 30 to 31 mpg with 18 inch factory 1LT rims. I drive daily for work which is mainly highway driving .I have the Volant CAI, catch can and Dynomax axle backs. It is nice to get 500 miles out of a tank of gas. The most important thing for fuel mileage is to use non ethanol fuel if you can get it. Try a tankful and check your mileage.

Hmm. Debating on moving on with performance stuff or suspension now.

Gotta get a winter wheel/tire setup first though.

I reset the tip and economy meters, drove 2.5 hours almost entirely on the highway- 22mpg. I'm running 91 in it, anticipating a tune any day now- except the IPF dude has been stringing me along for two weeks and still no tune. :(
I will admit that I explored the upper region of the performance envelope for a couple of miles... pretty impressed. My old Camaro was a 0-60 car, but this new one is a higher speed car for sure.

Wait, it's taken 2 weeks for the IPF tune? Ugh. I've been going back and forth with either going IPF or a custom Dyno tune at a performance shop down the road. This is definitely another factor to add to the list
