NO, and when it's freshly washed and a dick in front of you decides to clean their windshields...

Honestly, I have better things to do with my life. I love my Camaro 2013 SS vert and try to keep it clean but yes it's black and a PITA to keep clean. It's absolutely filthy right now. I can't afford to pay someone to do a proper cleaning and I just don't have the time to do it myself. Should I have bought something other than black? Yes, but too late now!

Your comparison to a dead beat dad is funny because the main reason my Camaro is so dirty is because I would rather spend time with my kids. They win...every day of the week. The reality is, someday I will be worm food and my Camaro is just a car that will be rotting in the Earth. But my kids, well, they will live with the memories of quality time with their father for the rest of their lives.

Hey, at least I don't let them wear their sneakers in the car!

LoL. I did say I was joking. Some people take things quite seriously. No sense of humor you have.

I do that in my car. I dont even get in with my shoes on and nobody else does either. I keep a shoe box in my car for people to put their shoes in. It seems my interior is attracted to dirt and since its black, no pun intended, its even harder to keep clean.

Lost your sense of humor, you have. (Yoda voice) Are you're just bitter, possibly a dead beat dad or the child of one?

I hear ya OP! I'm a meticulous owner. My Camaro, my motorcycles, my house...everything is spotless. My wife and I work hard for our money, have a lot of nice things for being young people, and we're proud of that. I couldn't imagine buying stuff just to let it go to Hell. I refuse to drive my vehicles if they are filthy. My BLACK SS (black paint is a love/hate relationship) is very tough to keep clean. It stays in my garage, covered up, waiting for a nice weekend. Even with being covered, dust and pollen still manage to sneak under there and wreak havoc on my nice wax job. It drives me crazy, but that is why I keep a California Duster in the trunk. Pull it out of the garage, grab the Duster and give it a once over. Everybody is different, I get that. I just don't understand spending money on nice things, only to treat them like an old doormat. Hypothetical: "Hey man, I know you and your wife just spent $5,000 on new carpeting, do you want me to take off my shoes?". "No, it'll just get dirty anyways. Mud doesn't bother us.".

Is it wierd to see someone blowing their car with a leaf blower? And what's so wrong with stepping back with a detail spray every 2 minutes to check and make sure you didn't miss any water spots.
Yea I get a little embarrassed by it too but I just think to myself how they go to the car wash and are getting swirls in their paint and that seems to help but it would also be nice if I could wash my car in the garage with the door closed so they can't see me...lol...

I am guilty of this to an extent. I drive a black SS as my daily driver and live in PA. I do not have a garage and live in a townhouse community. When I get it washed ... it is literally filthy the very next day. With that being said .... I will be SO HAPPY when I finally have a house with a garage so I can baby the shit out of my car! PLUS ... I think it looks really badass with a little mud on it.

I don't have a garage or even a carport, I do rinse my car daily and wash it weekly. I have cquartz and aviation Teflon coatings on my car. I will not drive in gravel or dirt roads and carry a vacuum in the trunk which I use daily. Obsessive about cleanliness of my cars, maybe...a little

I try to teach my wife, kids, grandkids, when you stop to get out of the car, grab something. Anything you grab at this point will 99% of the time will be deposited with in 1 minute or less in a garbage can. Think about it, gas station, dept. store or home you are guaranteed a garbage can very quickly, because they don't want it in their store.

I've put 20,000 miles on mine since I bought her 11 months ago. Between work, wife and four kids I don't have time to detail her every single time I roll out of the driveway. I do wash her every time I have a chance but there's pretty good odds you'll catch her out on the road filthy from time to time. I guess that makes me a dead beat dad.
