It depends on the situation I guess. I even kinda get a wide berth at MMA events, where people like me should definately fit in...lol. Just looking for a good time like everyone else dude. I'm a big cuddly teddy bear that likes cool cars and training for cage fighting. Great workout btw. If you can follow a training plan for mixed martial arts, you'll be in the best shape of your life.
And I would too. I keep a bottle of Quaker Steak and Lube hot wing sauce on me at all times for just such an occasion.

I've gotten some grief for even ordering a V6...I just tell them the same thing you guys are:
I'm getting a V6 mainly for the Price, and the fact there is still 304HP under the hood, and the MPG is amazing for driving this type of car. For me its not how fast I can get from Point A to Point B, but "How" I get from Point A to Point B. I'm going to focus on the Suspension first...then maybe the Intake/Exhaust But first...I need to get my Car...9/28 TPW Dave

the V6 camaro is an insane deal end of story, you're doing 0-60 faster than any car on the market except the WRX, but geuss what, the wrx is a wrx, not a 5th gen camaro....
and you're still getting the same looks as the SS guys All in all, the V6 is a badass car!

I have the LS3, but I think the V6 is really the underdog. Almost 30mpg and 304 horse...The Mustang GT V8 has 315...put in a K&N and some octane booster itll have the 315 mark pretty easy. The V6 is also lighter and reportably funner to throw into a corner. Also the price per performance is unmatched. Hell, turbo or two and really beat a ricer at his own game. The American way of course. Actually a short chrome blower sticking out of a hood of a V6 Camaro would kinda make day lol

I had a guy at a light just the other day say "woooooow!!! Is that an 8?"
"No, 6" "Why no 8?" "I couldn't justify 10k more. This has 304HP" His eyes got big..."WOW! Are you serious!??!" "Mmmhmm" "Really no reason to put it down then, awesome looking car!" It's funny when you talk to people about them that really have no idea what they're talking about. They hear 304 and shut up. It's quite amusing to say the least. I also like to tell them I left the V8 for the boys

Unless you are going more than 155MPH, alot, no need for a V8 and alot of tickets to pay...

it's not about HP, it's about Torque... The Mustang GT have a lot more TORQUE and will wipe the track with a V6 Camaro... plain and simple... A K&N really doesn't make a difference (I have one) and octane booster? That stuff does absolutely NOTHING...

I was talking to a friend of mine the other night. She had a '97 Camaro SS years ago and really likes the new Camaro. I suggested the V6 version. One because of the price and two, great fuel economy. She said something about wanting something that is fast so I pointed out that the new V6 is almost as fast as her SS was plus it gets close to 30 MPG. She was very surprized!

I have driven both the V6 and V8. V6 is an outstanding engine. It all comes down to personal preference. I love my LS3 and use it as a daily driver (Still get an avg of 22MPG which is better than my previous vehicle), but I sure wouldn't be upset if I had the V6.

When most people ask "Man why did you buy the V6?" I said, because I already have 436hp in my Vette and 304hp for my daily is just perfect for me.
So 740hp is all I can handle right now. They usually respond, that has 304hp in a V6, thats all you need.

I was surprised the other day... Guy asked me if it was the V6 or V8... I said it's the 6... he responded with "That's the Cadillac motor... very cool!"

6 is a great engine. I have the first version of the 304 HP in my 08 CTS. That said, the Camaro is not my daily driver and I wanted the V8. My first Camaro was a brand new 1978 with the 305 V8. This Camaro gets better mileage (at least in the city) than my CTS which is AWD and heavier.
Guy at the gas station the other day asked me if it was the V8 or 6? I said it was the SS with the V8. He said "oh I thought it was the V6."

Ok, it's close The '10 V6 runs low 14s stock? I believe the older 3.8 Camaros were mid to high 15 second cars. That's the performance that alot of people think of when they hear V6.
