What we are seeing here is insurance rates that will go up in the next couple years. High powered car + no driving fool = carnage

Some get fixed and put back on the road, others just get parted out.

Uhhh, ain't fixing most of these, they are "parts cars". That rollover isnt even good for jackshit, except maybe the drivetrain.

Is that the passenger airbag in that picture?
It looks like it comes from the top of the dashboard -- looks like people are safe to put emblems on the face of the dash.

You would be suprised what they will fix and pass off as a slightly used car.

But I agree, the rollover is toast.

With all due respect, I would not be surprised. I have owned my bodyshop for 24 years, and used to rebuild cars back in the late 80s and early 90s. Won't even touch that market anymore. Cars are more expensive to repair.. (ABS, electronics, airbags, etc.) Besides, shoddy rebuilders gave the biz a bad name, so any total loss with a "salvage" title is basically worthless on the market...unless someone sells the finished car for half to 2/3 value, and I see no point in that.

Yeah but theres one on there with the entire back half caved in that has a clear title and low miles.

Do not want, cannot fix like new again.

I hear ya, good title or not, ya still have to rear-clip the car, and today's cars aren't put together like the old days, so I wouldn't try it. Some clown will though. Besides, ya still have to find a good used rearclip, and since this is a brand new design, any parts are gonna be priced steep...trust me, I know. It's ridiculous what some of these salvage yards get for parts these days. Used to be half of new, now its more like 3/4 of new...try marking up that and selling it. Not good.

I understand your point pal.

If it was me Id go for the short term return as well.

Last I looked the bid was like 5000.

Good airbags, perfect interior, low mileage drivetrain, good body parts from doors up.

Quick and easy profit just selling parts from it.
