I thought the 14+ taillights would eventually grow on me, but I just don't care for them at a'll. They just look kind of soft and regular compared to the 10-13 rear. I do like the front fascia on the refresh though. It looks much more aggressive.

Don't even get me started on the 16 taillights lol.

I think I'm with the minority that likes the 14-15 tail lights. When the 5th gen came out, I loved it except for the tail lights. Since the design was an homage to the 67-69 car, I didn't get tail lights. the refresh got it right. Of course I think they should all be the LED ones.

I bought a 74 back in 1980 with part of my reenlistment bonus.
The lights on my 2014 slightly remind of me of the 74 because they wrap around slightly.
I still prefer the individual lights on the 2010 though.
For some reason it seems more retro to me.
Also, I HAD to black out that hideous chrome strip they put at the bottom of the lenses.
It was a subtle change, but really makes a difference.

That looks pretty cool. Beautiful finish on the body, too!

I like these black rims with big fat tires. Skinny tires on the 5th Gen

But the rears are basically only one size up

I want to go 275 on all 4 corners one day on my SS though, I love the squared stance of the 1LE. As to the OP, I love both rear ends but I definitely prefer the pre-refresh 5th gens in general.

Excuse the finger in the pic lol.

First of all the '10-'13 lights are nothing like the original Camaro, so I do not get the retro reference. However, I do like them.

When the'14 came out, I immediately recognized, they were trying to go for the '67-'69 look. At first I did not really like the change, but now that they have been around awhile, I think they look more retro than the '10-13.
I can go either way. I do prefer the front facia of the 14-15 and even 16. Each year got more aggressive and sinister looking.

My answer to the chrome strip was a little more subtle...
It's subtle, I think it helps a lot....

Or you could get crazy & do something like this! I still need to fill in the holes at the ends with black carbon fiber inserts.
The exhaust has been designed & custom fabricated by myself, eliminating the resonator & factory mufflers. It is a straight through system with ZERO restriction!
