Why is there a fiat ad at the bottom of this page. What a wasted spot to put that ad

I average roughly 16-17 mpg. And that's pushing it only once in awhile.

My average is around 21 MPG (mixed driving) at the moment. On extended highway trips, I can get about 29-30. I was getting about 24 before I installed my intake mods, but then my driving style changed and my shift points mysteriously jumped from about 3K to 4.5K (lol). Gotta soak up that low-end torque!
As long as I can keep the MPGs above about 13 (which is what my truck gets), then the V6 is still economical. If I drop below, I already own V8 that drinks fuel, might as well get another one that is more fun!

I know some differences come with the geography. Up here in Wa. we have to run about 10 percent ethanol. Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington--have mandates that require ethanol to be blended with the fuel supply. Minnesota, Missouri, and Oregon--have exemptions for premium gasoline, or for fuel used in older vehicles. I WISH I could buy real gas.

You can still buy real gas in Louisiana. My truck and boat have never had ethanol in them. The camaro I can't say as I bought it used but it will have mostly real gas from here on out except for road trips where I can't find it.

I didn't buy the car for economy or to worry about saving a few bucks a month. I drove my exes Prius for a year, she would get ~42 mpg and I would get 25. I'd say what's wrong is likely me, lol.

If you're getting 11.5 mpg in a v6 it wouldn't be driving like a maniac it would be sitting in your car not moving with it on

I used to average about 19mpg with mix driving (about 42mph average) when I just had bolt-ons. Now with my fairly agressive cam setup, I'm seeing about 16mpg with the same mixed driving.
