We've tried that unsuccessfully in the past. But that's always the 1st thing to do. Especially with the info in post #8

The best way to get to them is put his name in the thread title along with picture so when someone Googles his name Scammer pops right up. They really don't like that... LOL

I pm'd members about him a few times. Same phone number as rando73 posted
The address he used was a Florida Fort Lauderdale fl 33311 address..
He went as far as even messaging members interested in things I had for sale that he all ready left a deposit..

I tried to tell you people this guy was either selling hot parts or he had a junkyard.
He did not get any money from me, selling those parts, and calling me an asshole.

Why do we (as members) of camaro5 put up with people selling Camaro parts that didn't come off there Camaro. There are other members buying from members on camaro5, and then reselling the parts, it's like a side business to them on camaro5.
Camaro5 should make them a sponsorship or vendor, and make them pay. For instance, why are members selling 2, 3 or 4 Mylinks, that's a business.

Camaro5 members, if you don't ask for a vin number and how many miles are on the parts then don't buy the parts, the parts probable came off some other car that maybe been in a wreck or there hot parts.

Wow it really pisses me off to see stuff like this. It's people like him that ruin the trust in a community like c5. I'm glad to say I've dealt with quite a few members here and haven't had an issue once. The gentleman in post #35 being one of them. It really makes you question every "good" deal.

IMO any time a person tells you to send money as a friend, its a scam end of store, if they cant eat 2.5% what are they going to do if you have a problem with the part? i will say most members here are good, but you get the ones that are not.

There are plenty of long time members you can easily trust around here. If they haven't been on the site or participated in the site for a long time or just signed up and have 20 post then no way don't trust them. You need to look at their post history and see if the 20 posts are all sales or if they are actual participants with many more posts. They guys that do nothing but sell things are the ones to watch out for. They have built no relationship with anyone on this site and any deal that is too good to be true is a freakin red flag to protect your payment.

not always a scam some people don't know PayPal's rules and figure they can save a few bucks, but even if you send as friends the sender pays a fee
but less if it comes from a PayPal balance
to send normal its 2.9% within same country or 3.9% for Canada to USA

3 or 4% is a big chunk if you selling say $5000 item

sorry for the rant but long story told GET the seller to send you a invoice not money request

just my 2 cents
