Totally agree , bunch a whiners , they (. WE ) can't have the cake and eat it !
Look around when driving and you will see lots a license plates from out off state ,nth at should tell anyone that's whining why those folks moved to CA , but if they haven't figured out yet let me tell WHY , FREAKING GOOD PAYING JOBS
Yeah , that the reason , they don't come in for the freeways with 7 lanes each way , those seven lines are pack to the rim ! Again just look around , in some areas there no longer have ,,,,, commute time ,,,,it's all freaking day the same thing
I'm glad in a way it's like that , more jobs , more people , and the new comers will need more housing , and there we go again , more jobs !
Simple as that , but I start seeing some similarities with 2004/early 2008 , then we all know what happen , but that's the way things work !

WESTISIIIIIIIDDE!!!

two miles from the beach and 5 blocks from work.
Husband's retired and spends his mornings on the bike path and afternoons at the golf course or playing tennis.

I wouldn't have it any other way!

I don't care what you punks think who call me along with others a "whiner". Trust me, I will move out when the time is right. At the moment I live with family and I have no choice but to do just this until I land a job in another state such as Texas where I don't feel like this corrupt left-wing State Government intrudes on everything you do in life.

I laugh at some of the comments saying that people make 4 times more than what they'd make in other states. What a crock of crap! Maybe professions that require a degree yes and these days you sort of have to know somebody to get in the field.

*another idiot with an opinion*. That's just how I feel about other petty "e-opinions". It sucks when I'm making exactly the same as I was 8 1/2 years ago and I all of a sudden owe the state the last 3 years in a row. What a bunch of crap! I can tell you why but I won't even get into that because this particular reason why will change once we have somebody with BALLS running the country!

To all the others who mentioned that they moved out and never looked back, AMEN TO YOU. Too many cold bastards here in Californistan! I feel like the second I leave my residence, I'm in some sort of a battle with every stress-bucket driver out here in the Left Coast Bay Area! Seems like everyone here in San Mateo County is always so pissed off all the time.

I might sound pissed off now but I'm totally relaxed typing this right now! This is just MY opinion and what I've seen since I grew up here in the Bay Area where living on your own at ONE TIME was totally achievable. Now you can't live on your own unless you're in some high-tech job (Silicon Valley) making over 100k a year.

The average rent is what, 2500 now? I remember looking at a local ad for a 1 bedroom in Foster City and they wanted like 5300 a month for a 1 bedroom. They're smoking Crack! Not worth it, gouging and the only good thing we have going on now for those of you who are in the same bracket as me is the gas prices are a lot lower now....but who knows when that'll change!

Just two nights ago I left my house to go get a bite to eat and some dickwad in a White BMW comes out of nowhere riding up my ass! I went to the right lane and he fly's by me giving me some hand gesture which was hard to make out since it was night time but I'll assume it was a middle-finger?

The funny part is, this dork couldn't get very far since the light turned red on him. When I pulled up next to him I glanced over at him and he gave me this gigantic huge big fat fake smile. These are the type of people I feel crowd up the Bay Area. I see violators doing stupid shit all the time here and it bugs the hell out of me because there are never Law Enforcement Officers when you need them.

I think this month's biggest pet peeve (pet peeve of the month of Feb) would be the clowns who see you crossing the crosswalk and their arrogant "I don't give a rats ass attitude" simply burn by you without one F given. This is the type of attitudes I feel surround me now of days in the Bay Area.

I remember years ago when people had respect and you'd occasionally run into some peek hour traffic on 92 or 101 for about what, 5 to 15 minutes. Now it's red lights as far as the eye can see! It's pathetic and trust me some of you who disagree with me are thinking "Well then, get out of here and stop your bitching". Well the reality is, I won't stop bitching until I leave. I know it won't really get me anywhere with those who disagree, but at least I can express my own opinion.

And I can even tell you why we have this massive influx in over-crowding. Building Projects! They're building everywhere (housing, malls, attractions etc). I mean it's insane and these city council members don't give a rats ass and are laughing all the way home. They're making lanes narrower thinking this will help the traffic problem. Also the Google buss'es. Really? They're just cramming the Freeway's even more.....Good luck in 10 years people. LOL
sounds like a personal problem. we love it here

I'm sure you've heard the saying "happy wife, happy life".... good luck whichever way it goes.

That is what it is like to live in the Bay Area, not California. While I agree on your points about the area, it is in no way representing the rest of the state. I do frequent and work in the Bay often and it is a mess. I do not live there.

...wow... once you DO get settled in your new location outside of Cali, you may want to see a therapist - you have some anger issues...

Chill out

I am a native San Diegan and love it. So many things to do and the weather here is awesome. Sure it cost more, and traffic can get bad, but it's like that in any big city. Right now it's 78 degrees and the beer taste great.!!!
