OP,

I know you probably tried this already but I had similar issues at first. The most frustrating of course, was not being able to fix it no matter how many times I adjusted the seat. What helped me was positioning the seat so I could bend my right knee and lean it heavily against the side of the center console and still reach the pedals safely. I even considered looking into having the left side of console padded or even finding a "pillow" I could stick to the console to pad my knee in this position.

I'm with the others on seeing a doc asap. It might even be that your first drive(s) CAUSED the issue and subsequent drives just aggravated the issue. Best of luck.

This all related to your back, these guys are right with the info on sciatica because it does radiate down the leg. You need to go see a Dr about this because it's only going to get worse and your Camaro is showing you the signs. I'm going thru the same thing with my legs but my problem is no cartilage between 3 disc, going to the Dr Tuesday to schedule surgery. Good luck with this but don't let it linger

Ever since I took a 35hr trip to go buy my car my leg has been hurting a bit too. Not every time but when I'm on the road for at least a hr. But in my case I just think it's the side effects of driving 17hrs first day 15 the next and 3 the last day.

Until you can see a doctor maybe try putting some foam padding or a pillow under your right leg to raise the right hip a little. Could be you're out of alignment and that particular seat is putting pressure on that area.

Is your knee digging into the key fob that is hanging down? Wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the key recall. The switchblade fob would be sticking straight out and your knee would miss it.

I am with the guys guessing "Sciatica". My Camaro is a weekend garage queen but when I drive it longer distances or for few days in it I have same problem. I find cars that have a deeply bucketed seat do it to me, I dont know if its to much angle in my hip for to long or if its the edge the seat pushing up hard on the back my thigh cutting of some circulation??? I do know that I would change cars if its a daily driver and your only vehicle over going to doctor and going through a bunch tests and procedures. If you are doing something that hurts you the easiest answer is stop doing it.

I have to be able to keep the seat bottom flat or slight tilt forward or I ended up with bad hip and leg pains. I cant do that in the Camaro the roof is to low and or seat doesn't go low enough either or. Front of the seat all the way down if I raise the back of the seat and try get it even close to flat the head rest hits the roof. I sit with my back almost perfectly straight up which doesn't help with head room. I am 5'10" 210 and with the seat bottomed out I only have 2" of head room (doesn't help I am all torso with stubby legs).

After all that long windedness, I would consider a different car if I were you assuming this is your daily driver.

Its not Sciatica, I sent him a PM letting him know he wasn't the only one. I get this little pain or discomfort in my right (side) of the knee back of the thigh. Its like the gas pedal its positioned funny and just the way I press it maybe putting pressure. IDK, only happens for longer periods of seat time. I don't have any pain in the other 3 cars I drive 2 of which I put about 62 miles a day on. I don't have other walking, bending, sleeping, sitting or active pains.

Im going to try to adjust the thigh area adjustment of the seat, maybe I have it too high and its pinching a nerve (kinda like when you sit on toilet too long and your legs go numb)
and try tilting the back of the seat up and front down...IDK I'll just try things until I figure it out.

I have 15 years in the medical industry.

Years ago was riding my motorcycle on the highway and hit a pothole. The suspension bottomed out and I felt a sharp jolt. Did not think much of it at the time. The next morning I woke up and felt intense pain in my chest area and hard to breath - imagine it was like what a heard attack victim would feel like - except I was in my 20's. Then realized the pain was probably related to the pothole I hit the previous day. Went in to doctor and they found one of the disks in my spine swelled from hitting that pothole and put pressure on the spinal cord ... to the nerves that went to the chest area - made the injury appear that it was in my chest instead of actual damage site of the spine. It took days before I could even breath normally without intense pain and then weeks before the chest pains gradually went away.
Maybe similar in your case, back injury or back defect disguising the real location of the problem - or maybe a pinched nerve somewhere? Your doctor will likely figure it out.

Kind of a long shot (if it's not spine/sciatica related). Might want to try exercising? Probably help if you condition your lower body. I would start with light squats, 3 sets of 10 with very light weights. Also leg extensions and leg curls, again light weights, high reps.

I know it helps a lot personally, especially since I've gotten a little older!

I don't have this problem in the Camaro, but my wife does.

She says it's because the seat is too low. She is comfortable for hours in her SUV.

If the seat hight adjustment range isn't enough, think about a cushion. A chiropractor might help with recommending the right cushion.

Make sure you're sitting straight in the seat....I found in my first Camaro It was natural to sit slightly crooked( result of getting into a low, wide car with bucket seats) and had similar pain. Once I consciously straightened my torso the pain went away. Don't sit on your wallet either.

I used to have this problem. Fortunately tilting the front of the seat down helped. With my mid thigh having a lot of pressure on the edge of the seat when it was tilted up it created this problem for me. I couldn't drive for more than a few miles without it surfacing. So with the front tilted down it relieves the pressure on the back of my thigh and there is no pain. I started with it tilted really far down and have gradually come back to flat without any resurgence of the issue and I can drive for a few hours now outside of the customary get out and stretch.

That's how I solved it. I'm 5'10 230
