BTW, thanks for moving us to #1 on your list!
Just to clear up advantages/disadvantages of the dry air filter help me out here...

1. I read that dry air filters decrease air flow slightly (as above stated)
2. I read in other forums that dry air filters, are better at filtering fine particulate matter, is this correct?
3. Dry air filters can be washed and reused basically forever?
4. Look blue in color?
5. made from polyester matrix?

I just ordered one, so I like to know a little bit more about them.

Thanks, and sorry if I dont know my head from my a$$

Ordered mine from ZZCamaro last night. Just thought I would write on here that the thing that pushed me over the edge to finally order was your write up. It was very informative.

Also dosen't hurt that I have heard nothing negative about you guys at all! Hope it gets here soon is all I can say!

Installed Saturday morning. Step by step instructions made the install quick and easy, about an hour total. Noticeable difference with both performance and sound. I love this product and it looks awesome. Thanks Roto-Fab.

Will need to be modified to fit Magnacharger TVS setup. We cut the inlet tube back to the just behind the "lip" for the coupler on the filter side. This allowed for a perfectly smooth transition to the blower.

The more and more I read the more and more I like what I see and hear on the R-F
I found my CAI and will order in the weeks to come. Make the winter go by a little quicker spreading out some projects on the car. Maybe by then R-F will find a way to have IOM Hoses...I know probably not doable

Awesome Intake

The Roto-Fab CAI is as described. Packaging was perfect and very professionally done as were the instructions. I notice a difference right away in the BUTT DYNO and the sound from under the hood is increased 2 fold. Very nice product. I have been all around the market looking for the best CAI and this buy far the niced for the money. I bought the chrome tube with yellow connecting tubes for my Aqua Blue Metalic Car. Just looks great and the performance is awesome. Thanks Roto-Fab. Tony

We're glad you're happy with the intake system. That's an interesting color combination you went with...I assumed you had a yellow car. Can you post a few pics?

WOW!

Received my Roto-Fab CAI today, took about an hour and a half to install. Only problem was one of the foam strips on the bottom of the air box came off. Went together per the instructions and looks great.

When it came time to give it a test drive all I can say is WOW... Gave the engine a nice throaty growl under acceleration and a very noticable kick when you get on it. Found that you need to have a little more throttle control when you wind it up as opposed to just sticking it to the floor with the stock air box. Once I figured it out it was a blast to drive. You need to really feather the throttle at lower RPMS to keep from bogging it down (hopefully the ECM will catch on and adjust).

All in all worth every penny and I am 100% satisfied so far

congrats!

You don't have to wait to let the ECM learn....just pull 5 and 20 fuses overnight and enjoy the morning drive! This is exactly what I did after I installed the R-F CAI and combined with the Zoomers 3" cat back...the sound up front and back is just amazing!

Hello there at Roto-fab. Yes the color combo is really unique in that those colors go together very well(yellow and Aqua Blue Meatalic). I will send you some pic's to your web page, I seem to have a problem getting photos to upload here. Please look for them soon.
Thanks again Tony

I got mine about a week and a half ago. Took my time putting it on with the straight forward and easy to follow instructions. Packaged and presented very nicely!

Excellent CAI!

I just installed mine last weekend and everything that everyone says about this intake was dead on! Excellent packaging, good instructions, perfect fit, great looks and performance! In fact, my engine seems to run better even when cold! I started a thread last month called "LS3 herky jerkies". Well with the Roto-Fab CAI installed i get no more herky jerkies, even when cold! They must have the MAF positioned perfectly. The engine is very happy now and so am I! The only issue I had during install was that the 5 screw holes in the air box for the filter assembly did not quite line up, I could get 4 in but the 5th wouldn't go. I had to lightly file the holes to make it work, no biggy!

I'm glad I didn't wait for the CAI testing at Jannetty next week and I'm sure that this intake will be right up at the top of the results! Can't wait to see the results!

I also installed the custom painted RJT engine covers, look great! I'll post pics when I get a chance. Thanks Mike!
