I ordered mine the day the option came out-first one to have placed the order in IA! I haved 2 months or so-and I love having it.

I highly doubt there will be over 400-500 of these the first model year. They are different and most people can't justify $30-40k for a car that is "different".
Transformers and T2 excitement has waned...

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

It's illegal to ACT like a police officer but it is not illegal to have POLICE decals on your vehicle in most areas. Local laws may be different but for the most part you should be protected under the 1st amendment. -- This comes from the LT of my local police dept

I hate to dispute your Lt buddy but he is right and wrong.
There is no issue in having it but there is in driving it. There are impersonating issues if you arnt a police officer but I am so there is no issue.

My dealer told me they would be available thru Dec. 2009, so if he is right we will know how many were produced the first of the Year. Mine waited on stripes for 3 wks , but is now finally on a train. Can't wait.

Congrats to the guys who already have their TF Edition or have already ordered one, I'm so jealous. This economy is hurting me badly. I'll wait till things get better and maybe get the Z/28 that has NOT been officially announced, YET.

Mine has moved and is on a rail car in Tennessee. Mine waited forever to get the stripes too.
