Yea, but there is also a huge difference between the generations when it comes to looks.

That is subjective of course.

I'm sure we can hold off until then. I kind of wanted to at least have one in mind in time for our 25th anniversary, which is Monday, but that's not gonna happen, haha. She said she's in no hurry, so if we can save some money by waiting until August, all the better. And it'll give me a little bit of time to try and scrape together something of a downpayment.

If you get a good salesperson, they'll give you all the info and pictures you'll need to make a sound decision. After all the back and forth, I ended up with a price about $8K lower than they were asking on the local lots for the same car same mileage.
Thanks. I don't have a problem ordering from out of the area at all. I'd probably travel 500 miles to do it in person. Further than that, I'd have to go the route you took. On a brand new car, there really shouldn't be anything to be that worried about if getting one that has to be shipped to you.

I don't think it would be. It's really all about the price. If the car is what we can afford and it has a V8, great...but I'm not gonna pay thousands more to have one with a V8. Of the 3 cars I currently own, 2 of the 3 are V8s and the third is a Toyota V6, which is the bigger of the 2 V6's Toyota offered in the car. I'm definitely a fan of bigger engines.

THANKS to everyone for the info/opinions. Really appreciate it.

The LT w/ 30k miles us a good deal. Make sure she test drives it , don't want a smokers car. I recently bought a 2010 ss2 for $18k w 70,000 miles. I didn't have much to spend either. I really wanted the V8 and got it. But it was a stroke if luck. Towards the end of my search I thought I was going to get an LT with about 45 mIles. My Camaro runs great. I was using truecar.com and only considering local, established dealers. Buying local makes warranty repairs easy.

Good time to buy right? Tax return coming?

Good luck.
