Thought I saw one a month ago and we should have 4 in our area. One of the four belongs to nephew who's is red, the other two are black and mine is white. Only had ours out once this year and was asked by two guys what kind of Camaro was it? Not many know about them unless you are somewhat of a gearhead.

I saw my 2nd yesterday. It was a black one on Back Beach Road in Panama City Beach, FL. doing a steady 3mph in traffic, but I guess the difference between Camaro's and everyone else is that we still make 3mph look good

I took mine to Cars and Coffee twice. Almost no one knows what the Z28 is. I always feel that I fail to explain it properly. I'm not a gear head.

One lady with a Corvette wanted to argue that the ZL1 was top of the line but she didn't know what a Z28 was at all.

Hell, I had no idea what the Z28 was until I stumbled on it.

I live in Dallas and we have our share of nice cars. As mentioned earlier, I've only seen one other. Just had a guy tell me today that mine was the first he'd ever seen in person and he was stoked.

I actually had this dude, with another passenger, park his black Z28 next to my V6 Camaro at the service entrance to a local dealer I frequent. I just park there because it's a good spot on the weekends.

When I was driving up to the dealer, I see these two guys in a black Z28 and I thought, wow, an actual Z28 driving around on Sunday. Then, when I come back to my car after I parked it, I noticed they parked head to head with my car which pissed me off a little. I was on an end spot with a parking space in front and they turned their car around to be nose to nose with mine.

When I walked up to it to take a look, I noticed it was very dirty and kinda beat up from all the rock chips from the stock Trofeo's. This suprised me because you would think they would have a little more pride in taking care of a $70K car better. Heck, my lowly base V6 is usually spotless. I guess they dropped it off for service or something.

Have never seen one on the road. There are a couple sitting on dealer lots locally though.

I parked with a bunch of other Camaros including ZL1s, 1LEs, etc. Lots of the car show's attendees couldn't figure out what my car was, and why it had a red tow hook sticking out of the front grill. Some thought it was a Camaro with a custom 427 thrown in it. It was amusing. Kinda nice to have a rare track animal to parade around town!

So, how many have you seen?
Yeah I personally think this side of the rock people are true car guys.
