The revolutions is amazing. I know it says SS but can someone explain to me why it won't work on the V6? Does it have to do with the size of the ram air or something like that? Because the way it's designed it would look a hell of a lot better without that mail slot right under it.

Yeah, it says SS but I have a V6. Personally, I think it will look better on mine; however this is the best design for the SS I have seen as it compliments the slot.

The Z28 style is my pick for this one, I think it would look especially good with the SS mailslot....

I second the motion on the L-88 style hood, great retro looks as well as the angles at the front accentuate the mail slot and front end! Plus it would be SUPER easy to put a cold air induction set-up under it. Looks great on the orange Camaro above, we need one of the hoods.

Ok, are there other pics of it? it looks like a cowl induction but with sloped sides instead of right angles.

We are planning to make several styles, so keep the ideas and votes coming.

It is somewhat similar to a cowl style hood, except it was designed by Chevrolet engineers to draw air in at the low pressure area created by the V shaped opening at the forward part of the scoop and allow the hot underhood air to escape at the raised part at the base of the windshield. Look at a big-block L-88 Corvette hood, or a second generation Motion Camaro, for more examples of this style of hood. This is a classic design that actually works in cold air induction.

See how the graphic on this car comes to a point, following the shape of the scoop? How well the angles of the V as well as the initial shape of the scoop itself work to match the same angle of the Camaros nose? This scoop was tailor made for this car. Clean as well as functional!
