Those answers do not help the OP. My problem with the visors isn't just the height... When you hae the visor down, it will block the sun just fine... EXCEPT... when the sun is right in that huge gap just to the left of the visor (driver side). There is a big area that doesn't get covered by the visor, where some sort of extension could easily have been added.

And they are definitely worthless when you put them to the side.

But when I'm driving into the sun (every morning), I wear my sunglasses. They are polarized. But staring into the sun, even with sunglasses, still hurts your eyes.

So, if anyone does have a useful answer... I would be very interested as well
this may not be very intuitive, but if the sun is right by the driver's side A Pillar in the windshield in the bare spot that the visor doesn't normally cover, I noticed that If I pull it to the side by the window (where it looks the most useless) it'll cover the corner in the windshield that wasn't covered before.

I hope this helps.

The visors are ok for me, but for my wife on the passenger side, it's like there isn't even a damn visor there. She's like 5 ft, and that seat doesn't raise up. It sucks even more for my toddler in the back. Around sunset driiving toward the sun, he gets blinded. I had to buy him some shades, but he always just puts them in his mouth. So yeah. The visors suck.

These visors are only good when the sun is high up in the sky or if you like to ride with your head near the roof. The Passengers are screwed, no height adjustment for them. The windshield is plenty tall enough to have a taller visor, seriously!

They need a pull out extension for side use! I wonder if any vendors out there could design something a little more usefull.

Any bigger and they may also scalp you in a crash....

I can't remember the last time I used a visor in any car...maybe once in the work truck. But I've got a nice pair of polarized sunglasses in the center console.

Works perfect.

I bought a pair of tinted, polarized clip-ons that fold up on top of the visor and are approx. the same size as the stock visor. They work pretty good, but because they are tinted and not solid they don't block 100% of the sunlight. IMHO that's a good thing, and you can vary the angle to pull them down so you have additional coverage of 20% to 95% of the stock visors. The hinges are incorporated into the "clips" and have a ratchet built-in that keeps them from flopping around. Got them online somewhere--probably ebay or Amazon, but don't remember exactly where.

I agree. They are worthless unless you are over 6 feet tall. Sunglasses are good but still hurt your eyes. I know of a couple people that use these https://www.walmart.com/ip/High-Qual...hade/286960095

Cool thing is you can get it painted to match the theme of your car, if you have one, or of whatever you want.....
