Awesome write-up!! That's what I'm talking about! I'm definitely sold on the suspension, and I just found out there's an authorized Pedders dealer literally 10 minutes from my apartment!!! Lingenfelter isn't too shabby either... I think what I like most, with all that performance, the car is still a great daily driver. I completely agree with you that whatever I do to my Camaro, I don't want it to be a stiff, uncomfortable race car. And I know Pedders feels the same way. Of course, you know there are many of us who want to know, if you don't mind answering, how much is the total cost of that car, including the vehicle itself?

You may be right about not "stomping" it, but I bet he could give one a run for its money, maybe even beat it. Consider that, though HP isn't everything, his SS is now putting out more HP at the rear wheels than a Z06 puts out at the crank... Although there's a weight difference, he's got the Z06 beat by about 100 HP (15% loss for the Z06). Even a 700 to 800 lb weight difference is gonna have a hard time making up for that.

Hi All,
Thanks for the Kudo's. It really is a dream to drive.

I have about $25K in mods so far.. and I'm not done. Tires/wheels, racing brake rotor upgrade, a few odds and ends for the suspension kit, and upgraded halfshafts are next, over the winter.

Yup, I have no doubt it will spank a stock Z06. I have more power to the ground than the Z06 has in the Engine.. I am figuring when we are done with the suspension and tires/wheels, we will be pulling 1.05 - 1.07 on a skidpad on street tires.. Sorry, but this thing had a serious amount of work done to it, and some inside help with LPE and Pedders experts consulting and backing me up.

Look for the Article coming out in Hot Rod Magazine about pete's car with 4 PEOPLE in it on street tires VS Z06 on racing tires. Pete's car from Pedders and Mine are Really similar for power. I will be equal handling wise once more parts arrive, and I get some quality Tires on this car. I have no doubt Pete's Ride will out perform the Z06.

The Pedders suspension really is amazing... it rides firm, but not harsh. Anyone considering a suspension package for the street needs to find Mike from Pedders (DMS on this forum) and ask a lot of questions. If you are local to New England, look up Rob at Wretched Motorsports. He will set you up correctly.

Don't wait for a Z/28.. Build it! you can have one today! More power, better suspension, and it is here now. Two years from now, when the new Z/28 arrives, I will have this all sorted out and you'll wonder how an 'old' SS beat you so BAD.

Z06 Weight to power ratio is 7.38 putting down 430 at the wheels.
His car weight to power ration is 7.13 with 526 at the wheels.

So it's really close, would be a drivers race but he has a suspension advantage I think lol.

A few of the Poly Bushings were prototypes. Again, I am the first car after Pete's to get the Extreme track kit.

The complete kit was over 4K + labor.. I am still waiting on Swaybars (32MM) and we damaged a rear control arm. Replacement is on order. Also waiting on caster bolts for Front and Rear.

I am going to upgrade to the Serious extreme kit. The 1201 kit has 3 solid bushings for the rear end differential. the 1200 kit that is in the extreme kit has holes in the poly bushing around the center bolt sleeve.

Super nice 570. Having seen, heard, and ridden in the Red Devil (before suspension, but after LPE upgrade) I can attest to the power and speed. Suspension looks great!!! I'm sure she's a rockstar now. Can't wait for mine! CONGRATS!!!

i really want the sway bars and some bushings from pete. as far as the supercharger, how much was it from lingenfelter? with the install and tune right? did you have your other mods done before taking it to them to have them install the magna charger? just wondering ifthey tuned accordingly for your other mods or if they have a base tune that they do for it.

This was really an awsome write up 570. I was not to concerned with my suspension before I read your write up and now I might have to get this option for mine. I am ready for LPE to get mine goin!!!!
