Ask a forum member to look the car over. The Corvette club has done that for me.

Is it ok to track the car with cracked tires? Mine have this same problem, I'd hate to have to buy tires right after buying this car... right now Trofeo's are just too expensive, been looking into NT01's since its mainly a track car.

my tires started cracking about 2.5k miles after buying it. i went to the dealer and the best recourse provided was to claim from pirelli. pirelli offered 40% credit towards a new set under warranty. not wanting to pay for new ones even at 40% off, i opted to keep them and drove for another 3.5k miles. i recently replaced them with RS3 when tirerack had a closeout sale on them.

op, if your car is new, try with pirelli and see if they can cover?

Have a friend that works at a dealership. Sold two 2015's and got pirelli to replace the tires under warranty before the customers took delivery.

I wonder how this will work after taking delivery but the tires were cracked when purchased?

I heard back from GM recently about my dealer selling the car with dry rotted tires. Apparently they are ok with dealers selling a track car with dry rotted tires...you would think GM would put pressure on the situation.
