Hey everyone ! first post here. Great site been looking for years!
SS all the way!! or they can call it the ZL1 both of these have the sound of high performance!! Think about it , when you tell someone that you have a Z28 people think a 8 cyl camaro, but if you tell them you have a SS they know this thing is built for speed and performance!! Oh ,by the way I'm praying for 500+ horses |

just read a article by Road & Track. They say that there will be 2 V6's, a 220horsepower one, and a 300+ horsepower one, then there will be the LS2 from the Corvette in the SS version, 400-405 horsepower, and the Z28 will have 500+, so it looks like I'm getting a SS Camaro.

this is premature, when we know what engines are going in what models is when this poll should be started. Sooooo whatever model has the supercharger be it SS or Z28 is the one i shall order.

I'm in the same boat. I want whichever V8 is base, but my ability to get one may limit me.

That's what I picked, the reason being "if" the base v-8 is a L76 the same as in the G8 GT, then with the lighter weight that's gonna kick A. Now if the base 8 is going to be the LS3 then

SS for me
I actually hope that the SS isn't the $45,000+ top dog. And that is how much it will be if we are to compare to Mustang. The Shelby 500KR is that, if you can get one for sticker. Reason being is that I am buying an SS, to compliment my 67 RS/SS and my 98 SS. I want the SS to be the base V8 with a lot of options available, 425HP to compete with the SRT/8 Challenger.

I vote for the Z28 simply because it's supposed to be the top dog. I'm kind of a purist who thinks that the SS should be top line trim. Whichever makes it where, I want one of the 500 hp models in the convertible!!!

As long as the DI is the base v6 then DI it is because i will only be 18 next year and insurance already quoted me at $615 a month, is insurance cheaper in the US? they asked me $850 based on the mustang gt for me.
