I was so close to buying a GT350 a few months ago, but couldn't really justify the price. I definitely think it's better than the SS, gives a more visceral experience with that really special motor. But paying almost half the price for a car that is 95% of the Shelby is fine with me.

Shelby's motor and looks are better than the SS (IMO of course)
The SS has the better features and interior in general (minus the seats, love the Recaros)

If money was not an issue i'll definitely be in the Shelby now.

Motor Trend's latest issue has an article about 0-60, 1/4 mile and road course times for a bunch of cars including the GT 350R. Also, the 2017 Camaro and many more. The GT 350R and Camaro are really close. $66k as opposed to $46k. You decide!

I'd rather walk on broken glass while chewing razor blades than drive a ford. Just kidding, Its a great car just out of my price range. I'd love to drive one.

The gt350 looks and sounds great. But my concern would be reliability issues. The car has not been out even a year yet to the public and seems to be a few engine issues for a low volume car.

I still can't figure out who invited all those Bustang owners to the forum.. the original question was for any CHEVY owner not FORD owner. I maintain my stance, things are not good on the other side of the fence if they are hanging here more than over there.

Still, A GT350 has to answer to the Z/28 that hasn't seen the light of day yet. When it does.. You'll never see nothing but taillights if you are a Bustang owner.

I like the GT350. I went to the dealer but they weren't allowing test drives, and there's no way I'm buying a car without a test drive. Thought the interior was a bit plain for $55k (tiny screen).

So I drove a regular GT and it felt like a boat. *CSB*
