When you use a gas leaf blower some of them exhaust through the discharge and put a film of oil on the car.An electric is best

It works pretty well for me.
+1, me and Justin use the same carwash in town...

Are they called blonde towels because of their IQ?

Uhhh... Any negatives on a Sham-wow??

Or maybe driving 100 mph down the freeway. That'll get you dry in no time.

Only halfway kidding about both.

Use Microfiber or a Waffle Weave Drying Towel, or do a CD test on those towels before you put them on your paint.

I tried the leaf blower on my G6 today and it was too painful. Between everyone including my family looking at me like I was crazy, burning through a battery, and 15 minutes shooting air... I gave up. And the damn thing blew dust all onto my damp car so I had do another light wash to get all the dust off... I used my good ol absorber chamois (see next post up) and just patted the car dry.

Waste of time.
For the winter I'll just use my insulated water proof gloves.
Leaf blower is for pushing debris over into my neighbor's yard, not for my car.

Has anyone tested the ABSORBER on a CD to see if it will scratch?
