My only concern is brightness... Is it too distracting at night? Seems like it is quite a bit brighter than the doors, so I'm just curious.

Definitely looks great though!!
Not at all. It looks amazing cruizin down the highway at night with these on. I plan on working on the doors Thursday night see how they come out I'll let you know.

You did an amazing job FIREWOLFF. Any idea if this would work on a 1LT/1SS if the door/dash panels were replaced?

Try backing out some on those photos... Too blurry, too tight to really see. Finished product looks cool though, I don't suppose you could wire a dimmer into that light?

can you see the tape at all when the lights are off. from the pic you show of the dash close up it looks like the top edge of the tape is visible above the top edge of the trim. It might just be the light reflection though which is why i asked.

WOW! This looks fantastic ! It reminds me of the ambient lighting in the concept!

Have you tried putting the light tape in the doors as well? Maybe it can look more fully illuminated like the concept was. I would LOVE to see that!

Kinda like this:

If you didn't sand the trim would light still come through?
