The answer is simple really. You take all three for a test drive. You run them hard, put em away wet, and take home the one that gives you the biggest thrill.

And everyone will have a different opinion. Go with the one YOU like!
This is a very sexual analogy.

The SRT8 is a nice choice, little under the SS performance wise, but it is not a very common car. The SS is the best "bang for your buck" car out of the three, with the G8 being my last choice. But it is up to you, I'd look at what DG posted and decide which one of those descriptions bets fit you.

If you wait for the 11s, it should get interesting, the Mustang is supposed to get the new 5 liter V8 with at least 400 and the SRT8 is slated to get the 6.4 V8 with 475 to 525 HP, and hopefully the SS will get the 3.70 rear end option.

As for choice, it is what you like the the best. Might I sugges checking out a Challenger R/T with the Super Track Pack? THey are not that much slower than an SS or SRT and the super track pack is only a $400 option and adds a larger rear swaybar, 3 season tires, and bigger brakes.
I agree, I don't think the super bee was 100%, but still that night at the track, with the DA around 3000, the car ran a 12.66. I use to have a charger SRT8 with polished and ported heads and intake, a stage 1 cam, tstat, tune, catback, and so on, the car was running low 12s. Check my vids. www.youtube.com/cgarza12

The G8 GXP will be much more rare. You'd probably have to get a used one now. If, and that's a big if, you could find a good deal on the GXP, go for it.

G8 owner says CAMARO

I own a G8 (GT only granite) but still. the Camaro would be my choice.

I needed the room of a sedan and the trunk space. Otherwise the Camaro would have been my other option.

As a G8 (sorta) owner, I think it comes down to Camaro vs G8. If you need 4 doors, ie. you have kids, get the G8. If it is just for fun car and no one rides in your backseat, get a Camaro!

If money is a factor go for the SS. (much less $)
& you like the two of them.
I can now get a SRT for 4 to 5K off sticker, but that is still $40K+
A 2SS is about $36K+ @ sticker ... So about $4k diff.
Or get a 1SS & save much more..........

Ok guys...today I was looking at challenger pictures and no color really wows me but B5 blue..and plum crazy isn't out yet but idk if I would like it, Then I saw this I am in love with the old school sublime challenger but why does it have R/T and SRT8 stripes? idc it looks great! Now I am torn I hope they release this color but for now I am going to go with a inferno orange SS with black stripes and then later pick on of these up and hopefully be able to hang on to BOTH cars.

Why do you think the G8 will be worth less than the Camaro in a few years?
