I got mine on this weekend and fit was great. Reused the stock gasket and the supplied frint clamp and reused the factory rear band clamp and no leaks as of now. So far so good.

I was surprised how little these and cats changed the volume over the muffler delete and x pipe. It's a little louder but I wasn't really impressed. The good news was that it was an easy job and the shop I had them installed at did it for $130 less than quoted.

I was the same. I had a muffler delete and added the longtubes and cat deletes and was honestly surprised it wasnt much louder at all. But give it time, I swear when an exhaust gets broken in, it sounds different Maybe I'm just crazy though..

It would have had the powertrain reliablility of the camaro and would have put down the same power but it just wouldn't have looked as good. Nor would it have that awe factor of being a brand new factory build car.

There is your difference. Performance isn't everything, if I was hiring someone I wouldn't just look at how well they did the job but also how they hold themselves. By that I mean, his or her manners, how they dress, their hygiene, etc.
Actually, the Camaro is a budget car. There are higher priced cars that come with better build quality. But just like headers (using your logic) no one will admit that because they take pride in their budget products.

Budget is a subjective term. Saying the Camaro is a budget car because you could afford something much nicer but opted not to doesn't mean the next person could afford a dime more than what they paid for their Camaro.

I don't really give 2 sh*ts on who makes them or what country they come from. The fact of the matter is they're built very well (extremely well), perform as intended and fit perfect. If anyone else feels "inferior" by installing these vs SW, ARH or any of the other big brands, maybe their ego is suffering from an "inferior complex". But hey, it's your money. Some people have more money than brains though.......haha.

You could say that with every car you buy according to your logic. The Camaro used to be a joe average car. Not anymore.

Amen. Once they're installed no one gives a shit who made them or how much they cost; it's all about how they perform. My $250 headers put a smile on my face every time I punch it, that money saved makes it even better

I'd love to know what the profit margins are for each header on the market for the 5th gen. I think that would be an eye opener for some people here.

I've had mine on for a year, zero issues. If they last another for another 18 months, money well spent since I'll sell them with the car, no need to spend 1500 when I got the same for 300.
