Do not hold your breath on GM or your dealership getting back to you. I went through hell getting two issues addressed, was also fed the ""gm will get back with us" line. Almost anything that requires more than re torquing, or is blatant(such as an oil leak), a large number gm dealers will not step up.

Love the car, absolutely hate the after sale service.

Sorry I made a duplicate thread about this very problem, I had the same thing happen on my camaro on 11/29 and again on 12/4. Radio worked fine, but the display was all lit up. Drove it to work (about 4 miles), auto started about 10 minutes before I left, shut it off at work, the car was warmed up nice, opened the door, restarted, and got the same result. Got back in after work and everything was fine, I didn't have the opportunity to start up 15 minutes later (that may have been enough time). Outside temp was about 35 both mornings and dry.

Called the service dept. at the dealership, but the advisor had not heard of such a thing happening before. I may hold off on any repair until there is some more info on this, unless it gets really unbearable. I figure no need to replace the HU if the new one may do the same thing?

Anybody?

Got my 2LT this week and on 12/4 and 12/5 (temperatures in the mid 30's) had the same problem (no text) with the stereo.

Not sure its an LCD problem, wouldn't we be seeing the same problem on the main information display as well?

I tried turning everything off, opening the door and starting the car again but it still did not work. I will bring it to the dealer tomorrow.

Really? So you never had that happen again after the new radio was installed? Good to know.

Let me ask, was there any scratches on the dash, or around the radio after the replacement was done? Is this a relatively easy thing to do? I mean it's most likely a few screws and plug and play. Still I would like to know that popping the radio out is clean and easy. I hope.

Did they say what the issue was?

Have seen this on mine a few times, but usually comes up within 2-3 mins of car running

It was 18 this morning where I am, and 20 now, and no problems at all. I agree that it's probably just a bad solder point, and an easy fix.

Took my car out for a quick drive today, was about -10 celsius out, and I noticed that the bottom edge of the screen had some color bleeding upwards, radio worked fine though, no lag or anything.

I don't get it, today it was about 25 or so all day, and there was no issue, worked great, but both times it happened it was mid 30's or higher.

Same issue (Radio Display)

I am having the same issue with the radio display. Purchased car in Oct 2010, live in NY.

Radio display has been a combination of flickering and all blue screen. This has occurred three times now. The radio will still produce sound but will not dispaly properly. Temps were in the 40s when this happened.

And don't give me that its nothing to worry about crap. We all just spent $20,000+ on this vehicle and expect to have functioning parts. It is not normal and hopefully the more of us that speak up the better the chance that this can be resolved via GM.

By the way, freakin love the car. Just would like to have this corrected!
