Where are the final pics?

we pretty much just got it for blueray. havnt played a game on it yet

Official Production pictures and show models of the ZR1 Corvette were released around Dec '07 Jan '08. The first few test releases (for GM internal testing only) rolled off the line in early June. They are still not available for public sale.

Point is: pictures and show models (nearly identical to factory release) were released within 8 months of hitting the showroom floors. More like 6 months.

Aren't we within that window now?

PS- the only reason why I can think we haven't seen more is they may still be doing some final adjustments, one or more of which may be significant.

All this being said, I'd bet we will get some "good stuff" within the next month or so. (assuming something "leaks" before the Indy unveiling)

I still don't really understand what's so special about Halo's..
Not necessarily in comparison to other things, (like those pre prod lights) thats not what I mean, I just mean..whats so special about Halo's..?...

would something else not suffice?
I've noticed (looked at) a lot more BMW's lately, and I honestly don't really see anything super special about them.
Just that they are somewhat unique to BMW (i think?) - but that'll change assuming the camaro actually gets them.

Well, my take on it is that they match the prototype (which is unique - normally production versions vary widely). And, they much better suit and match the "mean" look of the "afterburner" taillights (assuming the final model will have both).

If you look at a new Stang - it's nice and all - but to me it does NOT scream "mean" at all. The pics of the 'Maro prototype, in a night street setting, just looks (you guessed it) MEAN!

I like that. It screams "Bring it On!!!!"

yeah I figured as much, but I mean, whats so special about Halo's themselves...what makes them so special as opposed to lights like you see on the S2000, and Lexus ES 330, etc etc...

Thought so. I may not be an insider, but I can read between the lines.
