I believe the advertised crank of the 5th gen ZL1 is 580 BHP. The wheel is around ~510 whp.

I'm not sure what I have, probably 580 HP at the crank (11s) when I engage the Nitrous System. I only use the nitrous at the track and the car has great street manners. It's quick but there are always faster cars if you look hard enough.

It's all relative. My last three daily drivers were 160, 158, and 170 hp, so going to 323hp was a real treat. A few mods and it grows in fun.

For me anything capable of mid 11s in street trim or 10s on drag radials and prep is pretty fast for a street car. 12s are more than enough to get in trouble.

Let's narrow this down some more. A car in street trim, street tires. I'll give you swapping the rear for drag's at the track. At what HP level do the car's become a wash for regular daily driving. I get it, its all in how much you use the go pedal. But I hear different numbers in the community of friends I have at least. Most top at about 600WHP being the top for a daily driven car.
Personally I have never owned a car with as much power as my stocker has...so I have little input into the subject. I have never driven a car with 600hp or more. My buddies G8 is TT and laid down 718WHP. To me its stupid quick...but mainly unusable on the street, thankfully he has a low boost setting knocking him back down to 550ish WHP.

Just curious what everyone else feels is the best balance of performance and usability.
Once a vehicle is breaking traction during roll-on acceleration out of corners and such, I'd probably consider that the point where real world usability starts to decrease. What's 'fast enough'? I'm pretty content w/ how much power I have now (basically stock), but wouldn't mind a bit more. Headers and a tune are in my future.

Fast is speed, like 200+ mph.
Quick is time, like 10.xx seconds.

My best friend and colleague's Huracan does it all on street tires and goes around corners. Our friends Turbo S does too. My Chevy is on the other end.
