I'm a little farther south, on the Outer Banks, but would be interested also.
When you guys get together, there is a show you can come to as a club in March. There is a club participation trophy up for grabs too. Here is the info. The First Flight Cruisers Car Club is hosting their annual Shamrock Show on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Kill Devil Hills, NC at the First Flight High School. The show is part of a 4 day event, and there are great room rates available if you are interested. The flyer is attached, and more information, including downloadable registration forms, is available at www.firstflightcruisers.com . Open to all makes and models, but would love to see a Camaro presence. We are also trying to book a mobile dyno. As a Camaro owner, I'd love to see a huge Camaro presence here. Hope you'll consider it when you form the club.

Well sorry to say the 20th I have to be in Philly for a meeting, I can't get out of. The family gets together then. How about the next weekend, or any other time is good.

I work on Saturdays. If the meet will be before 4pm on a Saturday I can't make it. I can schedule it off but I need to know about a month in advance and I can only do that about every other mouth. It realy bites having to work on Saturdays.

I'm in. Probably won't be able to meet more than once a month though. Send me a pm if anything ever comes of this. I would love to meet other local Camaro owners.

If the 20th and 21st are a bust, would Sunday the 28th work out better? Maybe meet at Mt. Trashmore in VA Beach? Then, maybe a drive to a local resturant for lunch? We could move the meets around to keep it a regional club, and on occasion, maybe drive as a group to one of the meets futher north. Just really cool to see us in packs, and surround an unsuspecting Mustang or 2.......

I'll be in the area starting tomorrow until late March and should have most weekends off. I'd be in at least for a temp membership
Gotta head out to San Diego in April

Let's shoot for the 28th of Feb. 12noon at Mt. Trashmore. I know this might not work for everyone but it's a start. For those that can not attend, we can adjust the dates so we can get everyone to a get together as it warms up.
Stay at Trasmore till 1:30, then head out for lunch. I know alot of dealerships would participate for meet locations. Most prefer a saturday meet for 2 reason, 1 is chance for a custermer sale, 2 most are closed on Sundays. But, they do have the quickest link to Camaro owners that may not know about Camaro 5 also. I will start another thread to get a sign in list going for those that can attend. If you can not make the 1st get together, note it on that thread but you still wish to join the club.

Well I have yet to here from the dealer. I would have to say that trashmore may not work well, that is if its nice out. The place is always packed when the weather is nice at that time (kids/pets/people who don't watch their cars) will be there. I say that because I walk the dogs there. We have a better shot at the first meet being at the dealer. They have a place where we could do it, insde if its cold and most of the workers are gone by noon (better parking). The room there will hold 30+ people and they have tables/chairs. I would agree that after that we should have it someplace else. I think if we could find a place that has food and parking all in the same place that would be better. This way if the family comes with and they don't want to talk CAR stuff there is a place to go.
Let me talk to the dealer about that date and see what they can do for us before we commit to anything. I just talked to a few other people about the club and this is looking good for a first meet (still not set in stone till I hear back from dealer) The first meet is NOT set for TRASHMORE as of this post, CruznSS didn't get up with me on this. I have stuff in the works already so please let me see how it pans out. FEB 28 is still a good date, I will find out about the time and post ASAP. I took the lead with this because no one else wanted to do so.
