Good lord, 10mpg? I was expecting a couple mpg hit, but that would almost cut my current mpg in half. :(

Looks like I may need to seriously revisit this stall idea.

I get about 16 city/20 hwy with my circle d 3200 pro series stall w/ 3.91 gears, and I keep my foot in it a lot.

The standard CD 6L80 stall that Chris described to me would not lose as much MPG as the Pro Series, as it's not as loose at lower speeds.

Most of my city driving is below 35 mph, and the pro series converter being looser, requires more RPM in stop/go city driving than their standard converter, so with less gas pedal use with a standard, better city MPG.

The trade off is the standard will not launch as well at the strip. This was my purpose for putting the TC in, so the pro series was my best option. If I wasn't taking my car to the strip, the standard is what I would have went with.

Hwy MPG hasn't changed, 24 mpg.

That's close to where our car is too, plus we have a mid-range cam. Love the setup, hammer it a lot like you. So said differently where it matters, the smiles per mile increases significantly!
