This is awesome. I just got my V1 in the mail yesterday, so this is really cool to see.
I'm curious, where do the sensors get installed? |

For the less "busy" look two-way glass does the job nicely...

These are not "the V1", it is the remote display and control built in to the mirror. The OP has installed the actual V1 elsewhere for an integrated look so you need to realize that it is easy to mount a remote display, the fabrication to install the V1 somewhere else can be more involved.

This is remarkable. I will almost certainly be doing this after seeing the results.

Given those things, my understanding is that he took the radar detector apart to conceal the components in the vehicle better. I still want to know where the radar sensors were placed on/in the car

So... the V1 is in the headliner, the remote audio is in the console and the concealed display is in the mirror... none of this is simple howoever the real complexity comes in if you try and separate the front and rear detectors as valentine specifically recommend not to do this. I assume the detector is in the headliner somewhere but with the front and rear sensors still mounted with the rest of the unit. |

Hi guys thanks for the compliments and interest. Attached are two quick videos I just made before work this morning.
Just so you can get an idea of the illumination on and off. Excuse the damn door chime I need to rip that thing out one of these days. |

Wow, almost $2300.00 for a radar detector! You can pay a lot of tickets and attorney fees for that much. |
