A salvage title in south Texas with electrical problems screams hurricane Harvey.

Selling car tips:
HAVE IT DETAILED. Pay good money for it. The $400+ you put into a paint correction and detail will EASILY be recouped when you sell it. Pictures. Lots and lots of pictures, from different angles. In and out. Closeup of silly stuff, like the details on the seats, the radio face.... Take at least 50 pictures after you have the car detailed. Might even be worth having a local photographer (find in a local car club or something) come over and take some pictures. Make it like a Glamour Shots for your car. (Except less 80s looking) Sell online. Ebay is as good a place as any. Auction I believe would be the best deal for a Salvage/Repair car. So many people run like the wind when they hear those words. Online auctions always draw people looking for a deal.

That’s fine and dandy however I certainly wouldn’t give $10,400 for the car if I was looking. Someone might! But a salvaged title is a hard deterrent. It’d have to be someone looking for a modern race car to hot rod as the general consensus looking for a daily driver will pass on this everytime no matter how clean the car looks.

Hmmm... someone who was going to build it up and track it probably wouldn't be too concerned about the title status. But then again, they probably wouldn't be looking for a 2SS either as they will just tear out most of the interior...
