Well then, looks like I will be having one of the most amazing Christmas's then! Only takes an hour from the Oshawa plant to my dealer! Maybe she will show up on Christmas Eve!

Just last week another Camaro owner that lives near me had his Camaro built that week and it was delivered on the Wednesday of the same week! Hoepfully the same goes for me!

Me too! Apparently the daily tracking starts on Tuesday of TPW. So tomorrow we should hear something. Good luck to us!

Theres no form of trackign here in Canada (we always get jipped)

Our only form is through the dealer or calling GM ourselves...

Here's some great NEW news for Camaro owners if you got factory stripes.

There's a member on the forum named, McIlmoyle, and here is his offer.

He works at the striping plant in Oshawa and has offered to give us the information on our specific cars. I sent him a PM over the weekend and here is his response:

I have two ABM cars on order and both have a TPW of 12/21. Nothing yet for mine! Both still at 3400

My assumption was that no one would be hitting 3800 till at least this afternoon. It's not liek they put these cars together in a couple hours :P If I recall it takes 18 production hours from start to finish when I watched the "Ultimate Factories: Camaro".

Tomorrow would be the day to see the 3800's!

I have a feeling that if your car is finished and loaded onto a truck/railcar tommorow there is a good chance it will leave the plant before they shutdown. Otherwise it will most likely sit on the lot or in the line until the new year restart.

I wonder if they will clear the line of all the in progress cars before shutting down or if they just leave them there half built until the new year. I suppose doing a retooling of the line might be hard with half built cars in the way.

It would not surprise me if my dealer got the car next week or the week after. I'm only about an hours drive by truck from the plant so delivery is quick....assuming it gets out of the plant.

What I read at the camaro tracking forums is that any cars sitting in their lot that are completed will continue to ship even though the plant is closed. Apparently, the trucking companies only take this weekend off and they're back to work next week. So, as long as our cars get built and are "available to ship," they could start their journey before the end of the year.

BTW, just got my tracking update today and I'm still at 3400.

Yeah that will be good, they will end up finishing all the cars schedule to be produced this week today hopefully as the plant shuts down at 3:30pm.

Going to make you a little ansy though Darth, as you wont be able to get a camarotracking update until Jan 10th now :p Now you will know how it feels like us Canadians that have no tracking at all!

Maybe I will give GM a call and see if my vehicle has been produced yet or not...

Just called, she's available to be shipped!!!!!!!

Cross fingers it goes on a truck today and will be able to see her tonight or tomorrow! If not I'll see her on Tuesday of next week (hopefully).

The Lady did bring up that the plant is shut down (which we know) but then also said that the trucking companies will continue working after the stat holiday on Monday. So if your car is produced it will be sent out soon!

So Excitingggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
